With all due respect, I would like to greet all of you, and I am very thankful for viewing this blog entitled "MICROBIOLOGY BLOG FOR STUDENTS" under the URL www.mblogstu.blogspot.com. As an aspiring investigator and evolving researcher, I have two co-authored publications that got published in 2022 and this year (2023), which you can access via https://doi.org/10.1186/s12866-022-02456-7 and https://doi.org/10.1177/11786361231201598 respectively. The former paper dealt with a point mutation in gyrA, especially ser83, that makes the organism able to resist fluoroquinolone antibiotics. Likewise, the paper has highlighted the decreased susceptibility of fluoroquinolone antibiotics against Salmonella serovars responsible for enteric fever. Similarly, the latter one has been published, highlighting the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 by patient viral shedding and the use of wastewater-based epidemiology to identify the virus in the general public. Additionally, the use of disinfectants is emphasised in order to successfully manage SARS-CoV-2 transmission and stop the virus from spreading across the community.

Having started this blog in 2016, I would like to deliver useful insights related to microbiology. Nobody can deny the importance of microbiology in the global community for the innumerable achievements in biological sciences. Lastly, this blog is a personal blog intended for the prospects of microbiology fields, and if there is any copyrighted content, then let us know so that it can be removed as soon as possible, whenever required. Thank you.
