1. 2022 Publication: This study explores a point mutation in the gyrA gene, specifically at serine 83, which grants the organism resistance to fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It also highlights the decreased susceptibility of these antibiotics against Salmonella serovars responsible for enteric fever.
